Ridge Presbyterian Church

A 246 Bell Maas-Rowe Carillon was installed here in 1974. The bells can be played from the church's Pipe Organ Console. The organ is one of the largest in North America and features Pipes crafted in Italy. The church is famous for its outstanding music programs and staff. The Maas-Rowe carillon uses "miniature bells" rather than tons of metal to produce an authentic live sound that is amplified millions of times before being projected from large tower speakers. By striking metal to generate the tone, Maas-Rowe produces an authentic sound acclaimed by musical experts. Carillon music is played live every Sunday and also plays automatically at scheduled times. Westminster Chimes ring on the hours. The system can also provide the sound of Swinging Bells for the Call-to-Worship, Pealing Bells for weddings, and a Memorial Toll. |
